Personal Information Policy on Motorcycletrailer.com
FIRST: We are too busy taking care of the business at hand (I write my web pages by hand code HTML, no WYSIWYG editors for me, thus the plain look like this), and designing other web sites (we do that too you know, click here for more info on THAT!) to fool around with anything as tricky as collecting personal information about our visitors and selling it to anyone else anywhere, anytime!
It's our policy that personal information, such as your name, postal and e-mail address or telephone number, is private and will not be sold or traded to any party. The only ways MCT.COM will contact you is if you place an order with us for merchandise, or email us about our products. Personal information will not be released to any parties except to take care of the specific business for which you provide order information.
What We DO:
We do track information about the visits to our web sites. For example, we compile statistics that show the daily number of visitors to our site, and the daily requests we receive for particular files on MCT.COM. Stats on what referrals and keyword searches MCT.COM visitors use to find our site are collected and reviewed.
We only use this information to plan advertising buys and keep track of what searches provide the best flow of traffic for MCT.COM
What We DON'T DO:
The MCT.COM system does not track, collect or distribute personal information about our visitors. We have software that does recognize the home server of visitors, but not e-mail addresses. For example, the system shows which IP a visitor used, but not the name, email address or other personal information about any visitor.
MCT.COM only uses Cookies in the shopping cart section to track orders. If you choose to participate in one of our affiliate programs such as the Harley books list from Amazon.com or the Camping gear store from V-Store, you are no longer subject to MCT.COM policy and we recommend you check the privacy policy of any off site linked destination.
